‘The laughing crowd are usually cowards who will one day end up being thankful men like this stood up for freedom. ‘
Footage producing its rounds on social media marketing appears to show police officers intentionally removing a student from a college class after refusing to decorate a face mask.
The incident happened at the University of Tn in Chattanooga, according to Twitter user Robby Starbuck.
This young man was “dragged out” through @UTChattanooga for not wearing a mask. The laughing crowd are usually cowards who will one day become thankful men like this stood up for freedom. @GovBillLee We need you to expand your EO to allow opt-outs from pressured masking at universities too. 🙏 🏼 pic. twitter. com/ZOZezVULqb

Footage shows a good officer approaching a student, who does not appear to be wearing a face mask, and tell him it’s the university’s right to ask him in order to leave.
“ This young man was ‘ dragged out’ from @UTChattanooga for not wearing a mask, ” Starbuck described.
“ The laughing crowd are cowards that will one day be thankful men like this stood up for freedom. ”
Starbuck concluded the state’s Republican Governor Bill Lee should consider expanding his opt out mandate to colleges and universities.
“ @GovBillLee We need you to expand your EO to allow opt-outs through forced masking at educational institutions too. ”
An update on the UTC’s website Monday ordered face masks to be “ worn simply by everyone in all public interior spaces. ”
“ Masks are required indoors for everyone, regardless of vaccination standing, ” the site states.
