CDC Announces Plan To Spend Large numbers Addressing ‘Public Health Threat’ of ‘Gun Violence’

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced a plan to spend millions in taxpayer bucks to fight the “ serious public health threat” of “ gun assault. ”
Yes, really.
“ Something has to be performed about this. Now is the time — they have pedal to the metal time, ” CDC director Rochelle Walensky told CNN in an interview aired on Saturday.

Walensky insisted that the CDC’s intend to spend roughly $10 mil on research projects and security initiatives has nothing to do with gun manage.
“ Generally, the word gun, for those who are worried about research in this area, is accompanied by the word control, and that’s not what I want to do here, ” she continued. “ I’m not here about weapon control. I’m here regarding preventing gun violence plus gun death. ”
“ This is not a conversation about having them or not having them. This is a conversation about how exactly we can make them being right here safe, ” she said. “ The research that we intend to do is going to be squarely about making America safe. Producing people safe. ”
“ I swore to the President and to this particular country that I would secure your health. This is clearly one of those moments, one of those issues that can be harming America’s health, ” she added.
