A Chicago judge provides reportedly restricted a mom’s parental rights, requiring her to get vaccinated against Covid-19 if she wants to discover her 11-year-old son personally. The woman said she programs to appeal the judgment.

Firlit said she had not been inoculated yet, explaining that she was hesitant due to the fact she had suffered from side effects to vaccines in the past.
Shapiro then ordered that Firlit not have to get allowed to see her son in person until she will get vaccinated.

Her attorney, Annette Fernholz, has accused the determine of exceeding his jurisdiction.
“ In this case you have a judge, without any matter before him regarding the parenting time with all the child deciding, ‘ Oh yea, you’re not vaccinated. You don’t view your child until you are vaccinated, ‘” Fernholz said. She pointed out that the father did not bring up the issue of vaccination or if it could potentially impact visitation rights, meaning that the particular judge acted on his own.

Jeffrey Leving, a lawyer representing the daddy, said that while the ruling has been unexpected, “ every child should be safe. ” Leving observed that there are “ children who have died due to Covid” which Firlit should be vaccinated.
Since the start of pandemic, Cook County, Illinois – which includes Chicago – has registered nine Covid-related deaths in children ages 15 and younger.
A spokesperson for the court said that these people couldn’t comment due to the continuing nature of the case.
