The daddy of a Marine who passed away amid the bungled Afghanistan withdrawal says he had been bothered by Joe Biden’s disturbing behavior when getting his son’s body.
In an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity, Gold Star Father Mark Schmitz commented that Biden appearing to check their wristwatch as fallen soldiers were unloaded from an airplane added insult in order to injury.
“ Initially, I wasn’t going to meet with him, ” Schmitz, the father of Marine Jared Schmitz, said. “ But then I felt I owed it to my son to at least have some words with him about how I felt – and yes it didn’t go well. ”

Biden’s son Beau, who served within the Army, passed away from brain cancer in 2015.
Darin Hoover, the father of Marine Darin Taylor Hoover, Jr, furthermore remarked Biden repeatedly ongoing to look at his watch multiple times during what should be a solemn procession.

Schmitz added that he also noticed Biden’s constant watch-checking plus recalled telling his spouse, “ I leaned directly into my son’s mother’s hearing and I said ‘ I actually swear to God in the event that he checks his watch one more time’ — and that was probably only four times in: I could not look at him anymore and then. ”
“ Considering the time and why we were there, I found this to be the most disrespectful issue I’d ever seen. ”
