San Francisco Mayor Breaks Health Order to Party with BLM Co-founder at Nightclub
In interview, mayor did not address why she was in violation of the city’s mask mandate.
The mayor of Bay area, London Breed, was observed having a night out on the town, partying without regard for social distancing or even mask-wearing.
This despite enacting stringent measures on citizens requiring masks for vaccinated and unvaccinated people congregating inside.
In a photo taken by the San Francisco Chronicle , Breed of dog is seen hanging out with Alicia Garza, a co-founder of Dark Lives Matter.
NBC Bay Area picked up on the hypocrisy, which they pointed out to viewers.
“ This photo posted and then later taken down in the Black Cat’s instagram web page shows a smiling gran London Breed celebrating along with friends Wednesday night. The problem is she’s clearly not within a mask as stated by the city’s rules she put into place. ”
“ There are a few drinks on the table, but nobody appears to be positively drinking them. ”
“ The San Francisco Chronicle reports Breed spent the night dance singing along and appearing for pictures maskless. ”
According to the city’s rules, masks are required for everyone gathering indoors regardless of vaccination status.
“ As of Aug 2, 2021, everyone should wear masks indoors in public spaces. Even if you are completely vaccinated, you must wear the face covering indoors in public buildings, ” the city’s order currently states.
A frustrated Crossfit gym owner interviewed by NBC was upset clients working out at her facility have to follow the rules and the mayor doesn’t.
“ She’s been clear that everybody needs to do their particular part, we’re not out from the woods. San Francisco’s rules have been very restrictive, and I don’t see her actively playing her part in that picture, ” the gym owner said.
In a statement to a San Francisco Chronicle media reporter at the night club, Breed of dog claimed a vaccine requirement by the club made the girl feel safe, and that the girl wanted to set an example.
“ … All in all, everyone who comes in right here has to show proof of vaccination. That gives me a lot of reassurance, ” Breed told the Chronicle reporter.
“ I’ve been very careful, not just because I want to set a good example but because I have a tendency want to get COVID. I also want to make sure that I’m not somebody transmitting COVID to other individuals. ”
“ (The Chronicle reporter who else talked to Breed had not been wearing a mask during the interview), ” the paper mentioned.
The gran did not address why she was in violation of the city’s mask mandate.
The hypocritical double-standard appears to be a pattern for California democrat politicians.
It’s the second time Breed of dog has been caught defying her very own order.
The last time happened in December 2020, when she was captured attending a birthday party at the high-end French Laundry restaurant in Napa, the same location Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) was caught flouting health orders last November.
US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) also got busted visiting a Bay area salon last September, whilst health orders at the time prohibited indoor salon visits.
