President Joe Biden was ‘ literally not aware’ of the spat between the United States plus France which was ignited with the Biden administration’s tri-lateral contract with the UK and Sydney over the exchange of submarine technology, according to Climate Charge John Kerry.
The particular spat was so poor that French President Emmanuel Macron briefly recalled his ambassador to the US.
“[Biden] asked me. He mentioned, ‘ What’s the situation? ‘ And I explained- he had not been aware of that. He literally had not been aware of what had transpired , ” Kerry said within an interview broadcast on People from france television. “ And I don’t want to go into the details of this, but suffice it to state, that the president, my chief executive is very committed to strengthening the connection and making sure that this is a little event of the past and moving on to the much more important future. ”
As Fox News notes, Kerry’s uncomfortable admission caught the attention associated with Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN), who tweeted: “ This could explain disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal & Biden Administrative selling out Eastern Euro allies in NATO & Ukraine while waiving sanctions on Nord Stream 2 pipeline. “
