Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO)’s campaign has spent over $130, 000 for personal protection services for the congresswoman, regardless of Bush’s longtime support of efforts to defund the authorities.
Mass media reports of the spending come up again on Friday using the release of campaign investing numbers from the Federal Election Commission .
In a video clip from August when Bush was asked about security investing in an interview with CBS, she claimed her safety is separate from individuals claim that police keep the general public safe.
“ Some critics say that move is hypocritical. What’s your response to all those critics? ” CBS questioned.
