Adopting the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse, CNN on Saturday released a foaming-at-the-mouth op-ed declaring that “ nothing is a lot more frightening” in America than an “ angry White man. ”
“ There is nothing more distressing in America today than a good angry White man, ” wrote CNN’s John Blake.
“ A possibility the ‘ radical Islamic terrorist’ that I fear probably the most. Nor is it the dark brown immigrant or the fiery Black Lives Matter protester, or even whatever the latest bogeyman is the fact that some politician tells me I ought to dread. ”
“ It’s experiencing an armed White guy in public who has been inspired” by Rittenhouse and other white men who have been acquitted, he or she claimed.
Blake went on to explain that while the majority of white men are “ no menace to society, ” he claimed that “ White masculinity” is responsible for slavery, Jim Crow laws, and the January 6 Capitol demonstration.
This angry White man has been a major character throughout US history. He offered the country slavery, the slaughter of Native Americans, and Rick Crow laws. His frustration also helped fuel the particular January 6 insurrection in the Capitol.
It’s this upset White man — not the Black or brown man you observe approaching on the street at night — who poses the most dangerous threat to democracy in the us.
That’s a sweeping claim. But these trials represent something bigger than questions of individual sense of guilt or innocence. They offer the disturbing vision of the future, along with a choice about what kind of nation we want to live in.
Blake after that lamented that Rittenhouse’s acquittal could make it difficult to impose gun control laws to the American people.
“ The conservative-leaning US Supreme Court now seems poised to make it easier for people to hold guns in public, based on recent oral arguments over a New York gun control law, ” he wrote.
“ The US’ civilian population is already the most heavily armed in the world. Plus our streets could shortly become even more violent. ”
He furthermore falsely asserted that Rittenhouse went to Kenosha with ulterior motives to shoot rioters, and claimed that their acquittal also means no one is going to be punished for the January 6 protest (hundreds of participants are in currently in a D. C. prison awaiting trial ).
“ While prosecutors didn’t show that will Rittenhouse was angry that will night, there is a perception — fair or not — that he went to Kenosha for reasons more than simply maintaining public safety, ” Blake claimed.
“ And finally, there’s a growing fear that no one will be severely punished for your January 6 insurrection because most of the rioters were White, ” he wrote, suggesting the so-called “ QAnon Shaman” named Jacob Chansley sentenced to 41 weeks in prison wasn’t almost severe enough.
This isn’t the only openly racist hit piece to come from your corporate media following Rittenhouse’s acquittal.
MSNBC anchor Joy Reid’s “ Reidout” blog put out an op-ed on Friday entitled, “ Kyle Rittenhouse trial was designed to protect whitened conservatives who kill . ”
“ Rittenhouse is a white teen who abides by whitened rules, and white people empathetic to those rules appeared poised to insulate him from repercussions, ” published Ja’han Jones.
Until the corporate media can be held accountable for fomenting racial strife and anger leading to violence like the activities in Kenosha, they will always divide and conquer until their Marxist agenda will be fulfilled.
