A Swiss olympic athlete detailed on social media how she created heart inflammation shortly following a booster dose of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine.
In a Facebook post Monday, Swiss olympian Dorothy Atcho chronicled her have trouble with pericarditis last month whenever she received a Pfizer booster after previously getting injected with Moderna vaccines.
“ On December 22 I got our booster vaccination because We didn’t want to struggle with this when the season started. I had been told that it was safer to get Pfizer (even though I put Moderna the first time) to prevent cardiac side effects, ” Atcho related.
“ Upon December 27 I sensed a tightness in the upper body and started feeling dizzy while walking up the stairways. This happened a few more instances until I decided to check with a cardiologist who identified me with pericarditis (inflammation of the thin membrane surrounding the heart). ”
Atcho said she would been medically advised not to allow her heart rate to look “ up for a few weeks to allow my heart to relaxation and heal from the swelling. ”
Despite admitting she’s “ annoyed at the situation because we don’t talk enough in regards to the side effects, ” Atcho went on to claim she’s “ glad the vaccine assisted avoid many deaths and reduce the pressure on the hospitals and hospital staff. ”
“ However , ” she noted, “ I am frustrated that myself as well as other young and healthy people are suffering from these heavy side effects. ”
It should be mentioned Atcho’s write-up received a warning from Facebook telling users that the “ Covid-19 vaccines experience many tests for protection and effectiveness and are after that monitored closely. ”
Atcho has competed in both the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Atcho’s testimony comes as fellow Swiss olympian Fabienne Schlumpf simply last week announced via social media that she had created myocarditis after being triple-vaccinated.
“ However myocarditis is holding myself back at the moment. It’s in no way an easy time for me, yet I’m not giving up. I really hope to be back soon, running after my dreams… and competition, ” Shlumpf wrote on Instagram . This is however the end from the road for her career. “ Nobody can say how long I’ll have to put my career on hold, ” she admitted.
While it’s tragic these athletes are being toppled at the height of their careers, it’s hopeful their testimonies and vaccine-induced injuries may serve as warnings to others to refuse the fresh jabs.
