Maxine Waters Told a Baffled Group of Homeless People to ‘Go Home’

“We ain’t got no home” a member of the crowd could be heard saying.

U. S. Representative. Maxine Waters (D-CA) told a large crowd of homeless Americans to “ proceed home” after they became annoyed. The crowd was upset after a misunderstanding over Area 8 housing vouchers. Seas later threatened a local reporter and told them not to report on the story.

The incident took place on March 25, not far from a homeless encampment in Los Angeles. According to a  report   from investigative reporter Connor Sheets of the LA Occasions, hundreds of homeless people came along after being led to think they would receive Section eight housing vouchers at the occasion.

The event, which was organized by Fathers and Mothers Who Care, has been aimed at finding emergency shelter for citizens without houses. The confusion reportedly overcome the non-profit as well as Los Angeles Housing Services Authority (LAHSA) workers who told the unexpected arrivals that they would only be able to provide their information and enter an emergency housing database.

Waters was then encircled by a large group of infuriated and confused group of homeless people. She eventually told the crowd to “ go home”, prompting an angry response. “ We all ain’t got no home, that’s why we’re here” a lady in the crowd could be noticed saying in response. Bewildered, Maxine Waters then told the homeless crowd that no one in Washington was battling for them harder than she actually is and that she “ failed to want to hear” any undesirable remarks.

“ Excuse me, there’s nobody within Washington who works for his or her people any fu***** tougher than I do, ” Seas said. “ I do want to hear this. Simply no, no, no . ”

When contacted by the LA Occasions Tuesday, Waters requested the storyplot not be published. “ You’ll hurt yourself and the local community trying to put this jointly without background, ” the girl told Sheets, according to the report. “ I don’t need you to start trying to compose it, you won’t understand this. ”
