A haunted house musician is recovering after allegedly being shot in South Carolina last week by a guest that thought a firearm was obviously a “ prop, ” experts say.
The weird incident unfolded on Saturday available at Hollywood Wax Museum Haunted House in Myrtle Seaside, SC.
A man identified as Keal Latrell Brown has been demanded with contributing to the delinquency of a minor in connection with the shooting, but could deal with more charges following an ongoing investigation.
Brown had reportedly entered the wax memorial with a group on Saturday whenever things spiraled out of control.
“ While inside, several peoples of the group were frightened because of the victim, who was working to be a performer in the Haunted Home, ” the Myrtle Seashore Police Department explained inside of a statement . “ One person in the family fell to the ground, and through the scramble, a gun slid back and struck Brown inside the foot. ”
“ Brown leafy told investigators he understood the gun was a prop and part of the experience if he picked it up and terminated twice, striking the target one time in the shoulder. ”
The suspect apparently afterward gave the firearm included in the shooting to a secondary, according to authorities.
He was after apprehended near Charleston, WBTW reports.
