DHS Disinformation’ Unit Headed by Woman Who Said Seeker Biden Laptop Story Has been Disinformation
Houston, we have a problem.
The Division of Homeland Security’s new ‘ disinformation’ unit is going to be headed by a woman exactly who says free speech can make her ‘ shudder’ and who falsely labeled the Hunter Biden laptop story disinformation.
Oh dear.
Just two days after it had been revealed that Elon Musk had reached an agreement to buy Twitter, DHS chief Alejandro Mayorkas announced the development of a “ disinformation governance board. ”
The new board will focus primarily on “ false information related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia. ”
The board is going to be headed by Nina Jankowicz, a former advisor to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry who oversaw related issued at the Nationwide Democratic Institute lobby team.

Jankowicz’s watch of free speech is particularly odious. Free speech apparently can make her physically shudder.
“ I shudder to think about if free talk absolutists were taking over a lot more platforms, what that would look like for the marginalized communities, which are already shouldering disproportionate amounts of this abuse, ” the girl tweeted in response to Musk’s Twitter takeover.

Jankowicz previously called Musk an “ online abuser, ” while arguing for further censorship when she true, “ The ‘ free of charge speech vs censorship’ framing is a false dichotomy. ”
But crucially, the woman handed the role of deciding what constitutes “ disinformation, ” earlier labeled a completely truthful story “ disinformation” because it has been seen to be harmful to Joe Biden’s presidential chances.
Jankowicz promoted the exact disinformation that the New York Submit Hunter Biden laptop story was a “ Russian influence op. ”
Back on the “laptop from hell, ” apparently- Biden notes 50 former natsec officials and five former CIA heads that believe the laptop is really a Russian influence op.

The girl also wrongly asserted that it was a “ Trump marketing campaign product, ” while also claiming Trump supporters would certainly show up at the polls along with weapons to intimidate voters.
Jankowicz’s appointment once again underscores how moral panics about ‘ disinformation’ and ‘ misinformation’ are contrived frauds designed to hide legitimate information harmful to the regime’s narrative.
Both the Hunter Biden notebook scandal and the lab outflow theory, two of the biggest news stories of 2020, were truthful yet branded “ disinformation” so they could be buried by social media algorithms to prevent their viral distribute.
Along with ‘ fact checkers’, the new DHS disinformation unit is just an additional branch of the Ministry associated with Truth, which as in Orwell’s 1984, serves a primary reason for hiding and eliminating the truth.
