Yet Trump really let the people in on his plan during his third 2016 presidential debate with Hillary Clinton, where the first question by then-Fox News anchor Philip Wallace dealt with the Best Court.

“ Let’s pick up on one more issue which divides a person, and the justices that, whoever ends up winning this political election appoints, could have a dramatic effect there. That’s the issue of abortion. Mr. Trump, you’re pro-life. And I wish to ask you specifically. Would you like the court, including the justices that you will name, to overturn Roe v. Wade, including, in fact , states a woman’s right to abortion? ” Wallace asked Trump.

“ Well, if that would happen, because I am pro-life and I will be appointing pro-life judges, I would think that might go back to the individual states, ” Trump responded.

After a brief back and forth, Trump elaborated:

“ If we put another two or perhaps three justices on, which is really what will happen. That will happen automatically in my opinion. Since I am putting pro-life justices on the court. I will state this. It will go back to the states and the states will likely then make a determination. ”

At this stage, Clinton chimed in that the lady in contrast strongly supports Roe v. Wade.

The bombshell news of the Court’s decision revealed Monday night shows Trump certainly called it correctly almost six years ago.
