Nearly 700 Illegals Caught in Four Groups in Texas County

Four huge groups of illegal aliens were captured entering one Texas county last week, according to authorities.

Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 700 migrants in four mobs that illegally entered Starr County, which lies on the Texas-Mexico edge.

“ Rio Grande City Station agents encountered 4 large groups totaling 685 noncitizens in Starr Region over the past week. The organizations consisted of 424 single adults, 190 family members, and 71 unaccompanied children, ” Traditions and Border Protection explained in a press release on Fri.

“ The migrants are usually from Central and South usa, Asia, and Caribbean. ”

RGV Chief Patrol Real estate agent Brian Hastings shared pictures of the migrants on social media, along with snaps from other smuggling busts that took place throughout the week.






“ Over the past week, USBP agents came across 4 large groups totaling 685 migrants in Starr County, more than half were one adults, ” Agent Hastings wrote.

“ Additionally , several human smuggling attempts were thwarted by RGV agencies and local law enforcement partners. ”

At least 20 more apprehensions were made throughout the trio of busts pointed out by Hastings, all of which included dangerous vehicle pursuits.

Border authorities  recorded   more than 245, 300 ‘ encounters’ in the Rio Grande Valley Sector during the first six months of Financial Year 2022, an increase of 53% over the same period the previous year.
