Five Free Crack Pipes Obtained Amid Investigation Into Government-Funded ‘Safe-Smoking Kits’
Discovery comes as White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki denied crack pipes would be distributed in ‘safe-smoking products. ‘
5 free crack pipes were obtained by a news business that visited various “ harm reduction” sites through the northeastern US to investigate whether the drug paraphernalia was actually being distributed to citizens.
Upon Thursday, the Washington Free Beacon verified it indeed received crack pipes at sites in Boston, New York City, Washington DC, Baltimore, and Richmond, contained inside alleged “ safe-smoking kits. ”
“ While the contents of safe-smoking packages vary from one organization in order to another— and while those through some organizations may not include crack pipes— all of the institutions we visited made break pipes as well as paraphernalia when you use heroin, cocaine, and crystal methamphetamine readily available without requiring or offering rehabilitation providers, suggesting that pipes are usually included in many if not most of the kits distributed across the country, ” the Free Beacon reported.
“ All of the centers we visited are run by health-focused nonprofits and government agencies— the particular types of groups eligible to receive funding , beginning this month, from the Biden administration’s $30 million offer program. ”
The Free Beacon ‘ t crack pipe discovery runs contrary to reassurances by White-colored House Press Secretary Jen Psaki last February the fact that smoking kits would not include crack pipes.
FLASHBACK to Jen Psaki in February: Split pipes “ were certainly not part of the kit, it was inaccurate reporting. ”

Popular media fact-checkers parroted Psaki’s talking points, also declaring the kits definitely don’t include crack pipes.

Upon Thursday, Psaki was again asked about the federal break pipe scheme and refused federal funds went to the websites that distributed the pipes, proceeding to call the issue a “ conspiracy concept. ”

The Free Beacon says sites exactly where crack pipes were attained did not confirm whether they applied for the federal grant program.
Additionally , “ The Department of Health and Human Services, which will oversee the Biden grant system, declined to provide a list of groupings that have applied for funding, citing ‘ confidentiality, ‘” the Beacon reports. “ The Biden administration is set to announce grant recipients upon May 15. ”
In February, two Republican congressmen introduced the Hunter Respond , or the Halting the Use of Narcotics Via Effective Recovery Act , to prevent the use of community money to fund the government crack pipe distribution plan.
One of the bill’s sponsors, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo. ) told Fox News , “ I like the HUNTER Act because it was a better acronym than Stop Having to pay to Subsidize Biden’s Boy’s Drug Addiction act. That didn’t really flow. I believe tax dollars have been in the hook for Hunter’s addictions long enough. ”
