Thousands of pro-abortion active supporters and workers took to the streets associated with Washington, D. C. as well as other cities on Saturday to oppose the leaked draft decision by the Supreme Courtroom to overturn the 1973 Roe sixth is v Wade judgment legalizing abortion nationwide.
The “ Bans Off Our Bodies ” event was organized by Planned Motherhood and the Women’s March groups.
Women’s March executive director Rachel Carmona warned at the National Shopping mall that there will be a “ summer of rage” if illigal baby killing is overturned by the Best Court.
“ We will be ungovernable until this government starts working for all of us, ungovernable, ” Carmona mentioned. “ That’s why we are consuming to the streets today in cities all across the country. It can why today isn’t just one day of action. It is simply day one of an invigorated motion aligned behind one simple need, and you all heard it, keep your bans off the body! ”
Pro-abortion protests were also observed in numerous other states, including Florida, Ohio, Texas, Wa, Michigan, Idaho, and Virginia.
