CNN’s Bash Suggests Babies Become Aborted Rather Than Live in Poverty
“Arkansas already struggles to support vulnerable children… Do you really think that your state is prepared to protect and care for even more children if abortion really does become illegal there? ” she asks Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson.
CNN anchor Dana Bash suggested that poor parents are better off aborting youngsters rather than living in poverty.
During a job interview with Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) on “ State of the Union” Weekend, Bash attacked the governor’s decision to sign a near-total abortion ban straight into law that has few conditions.
“[Y]our law only provides exceptions for the life from the mother. So , just want to become clear. If Roe v. Wade is overturned, no female, unless her life is in danger, will be able to get an child killingilligal baby killing in Arkansas? ” Bash asked.

She went on to bring up the extremely rare scenarios of rape and incest, that account for about 0. 5% of abortions in the state.
“ Why should an 11 or even 12-year-old girl who’s impregnated by her father or her uncle or another member of the family be forced to carry that child to term? ” Bash asked.
Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson: “And whenever I agreed upon that law, I did express that I support the – also the exceptions associated with rape and incest. ”

Hutchinson responded that though he do sign the abortion prohibit into law, he facilitates rare exceptions to abortion for “ life of the mother and rape and incest, ” and stated that if the Supreme Court overturned Roe sixth is v Wade , those exceptions would be considered.
Bash then shifted to some dark line of questioning, recommending that children born to poor households should rather be aborted.
“ Arkansas already struggles to support vulnerable children. Almost one in four kids in Arkansas lives in low income, ” Bash stated. “ More than 4, six hundred kids are already in your california’s overloaded foster care program. Do you really think that your state is definitely prepared to protect and take care of even more children if illigal baby killing does become illegal there? ”
Yikes.
Bash’s remarks suggesting poor children are best dead underscores the left’s thinking that pregnancy and child-rearing is a burden rather than a true blessing.
