Movie: Davos Guest Calls For ‘Recalibration’ of Freedom of Speech

A guest of the World Economic Forum’s annual summit in Davos called for a “ recalibration” of freedom of speech to combat “ online violence” and “ increasing polarization. ”

“ We are finding ourselves in a place where we have improving polarization everywhere and everything feels binary when it isn’t going to need to be, ” Australia’s “ eSafety Commissioner” Julie Inman Grant said on Monday.

“ So , I think we’re going to have to think about a recalibration of a whole selection of human rights that are actively playing out online, from freedom of speech to the freedom to be free from online violence. ”

“ Or the right of data protection to the directly to child dignity, ” the lady added.

Australia’s “ eSafety Commissioner” placement is the country’s online protection “ regulator and educator” created in 2015 that will “ leads and heads online safety efforts. ”

Grant’s comments come amid an ongoing advertising campaign by the media and authorities bureaucrats to demonize totally free speech as billionaire plus “ free speech absolutist” Elon Musk is in the process of acquiring Twitter.

The establishment’s naked attempt to police free speech is becoming so laughably obvious the Department of Homeland Protection was forced to “ pause” its newly-created “ Disinformation Governance Board” in the face of common backlash.

Actually, the board’s chair Nina Jankowicz blamed the Disinformation Board’s closure and the girl subsequent resignation on — you guessed it — “ disinformation. ”
