A live news report in Chicago had been interrupted when a suspect allegedly pointed a pistol at the camera while walking over the sidewalk, according to reports.
The harrowing incident unfolded on Wednesday morning in the Turbulent City.
“ Around 7 a. m., at the part of Clark and Hubbard, while our reporter was in the middle of a live review about Chicago gun assault, a man walked up and pointed what appeared to be the firearm at our crew, ” Sibel 32 reviews.
In the video, the suspect appears to exit a coffee shop with beverages in hand.
Soon afterwards, as reporter Joanie Lum films a portion for Good Day Chicago near the business, the same man moves behind her and factors an object that looks like a gun directly at the camera prior to skipping away.
Chicago police say they are trying to locate the suspect, who might be charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
