Best Doctors Say Trans Swimmer Has Unfair Advantage
Despite undergoing testosterone controlling therapy.
Top doctors told the brand new York Times that transgender swimmer Lia Thomas nevertheless has an unfair advantage over biological females despite the sportsman having undergone testosterone suppressing therapy.
The transgender swimmer, who had been born a man, stoked debate after winning the 500-yard NCAA women’s championship within March.

Despite trans active supporters and workers claiming that Thomas undergoing testosterone suppressing therapy amounts the playing field, top doctors disagree.
“ Physiology and the field of biology underpin” social aspects that exist in sport, the Mayonaise Clinic’s Michael J. Joyner told the New York Occasions.
International physiologist Dr . Ross Tucker agreed, asserting, “ Lia Jones is the manifestation of the scientific evidence. The reduction in testosterone did not remove her biological advantage. ”
