Because Pride Month Kicks Off, Could it be Time To Give Straight People Their Parade Too?

The US and the West should think of partying the most common sexual preference.

It’s already the merry month of June plus, according to the woke calendar, time to celebrate the smorgasbord associated with sexual proclivities now available for all and sundry. But really want to also honor the oldest carnal preference of them almost all?

On June 11, 1999, then-President Bill Clinton, the philandering Democrat who forced People in america to wonder whether blow jobs constituted actual sex, designated June as ‘ Lgbt Pride Month’. And it’s already been a joyride ever since. These days, in the spirit of inclusivity and diversity, the celebration has sprouted some glorious wings and is now generally known as ‘ Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Pride Month’.

The origin of the celebration dates back to June 28, 1969, when police conducted a good early-morning raid on the Stonewall Inn in trendy Greenwich Village, a popular meeting location for the gay community within New York City. As the story will go, the patrons of the pub, as well as neighboring watering holes, fought back against police as they attempted to make busts. The rest is history. These days, due in no small part to the Stonewall riots, the LGBTQ+ community may claim some major ethnic victories: Same-sex marriage continues to be legalized in all 50 claims, while gay and transgender employees are protected through discrimination in the workplace.

Those successes notwithstanding, really does the LGBTQ+ movement, or some kind of movement for that matter, warrant a whole month of our undivided interest? Black American actor Morgan Freeman was once asked in an interview what this individual thought about Black History 30 days.   “ Absurd, ”   has been his immediate response.   “ I don’t want a Black History 30 days. Black history is American history. ”   An incredulous Mike Wallace, reporter with the news program 60 Minutes, then proceeded to ask,   “ but how are usually we going to get rid of racism? ”

Freeman’s solution was as brilliant as it was basic:   “ End talking about it! ”

“ I’m going to stop calling you a White man, ”   the actor  told Wallace ,   “ and I’m going to ask you to stop calling me a Black man. ”

For many people, this particular summarizes the problem with LGBTQ+ Pride Month, which is the incessant need to flesh out there these sexual issues before everyone, including the children. What happened to discretion? It’s almost impossible to turn on the television or even open a newspaper without having coming face to face with sex-drenched issues. In fact , the LGBTQ+ movement is actually getting a lot more than a month of parades, festivities, and free marketing from corporations that shouldn’t want to be left out of the virtue-signaling orgy. This cultural juggernaut has come to dominate almost every element of our lives, every single day, right down to the elementary school level.

Once upon a time, parents in the US could send their children away from to school in the morning with total confidence that the children were receiving a wholesome education and learning. Such ‘ privileges’ pertaining to tax-paying citizens can no longer be used for granted. Today, educational institutions across the country have taken it on themselves to educate young children on topics related to gender plus transgender, with the suggestion that will – just maybe – they had been born within the wrong body. Exactly the sort of thing that every kid needs to hear. These are highly questionable subjects for anyone, not minimum of all young children, that are greatest left to the discretion associated with parents in the privacy of the house. Despite legitimate concerns that will classrooms are becoming hyper-sexualized, the situation is only getting worse.

Today, public libraries hosting ‘ drag queen story hours’ for children and their particular parents have gone popular, at the same time that books glorifying pedophilia are sneaking their particular way onto school bookshelves. In September 2021, Stacy Langton, a concerned parent,   told   a Fairfax Senior high school Board meeting in Virginia about two sexually image books she had found in the school library.

“ I’m not anti-gay, I’m not endeavoring to eliminate the LGBTQ book selection, ”   Langton pleaded.   “ It’s literal pornography, that’s the problem. ”

Ironically, in the course of describing the shocking scenes of pedophilia contained in the illustrated guide, she was told to stop reading because  “ there are children in the market. ”

The story doesn’t get better. Not only did the Fairfax School Board  override   the parents’ issues and order the textbooks to stay on the shelves, but , in a separate development, the particular FBI began  concentrating on   “ disruptive”   mothers and fathers who appear at school table meetings to complain as to what their children are being taught behind closed doors. Needless to say, homeschooling in the home of the brave has  enjoyed   a surge in interest of late.

The point here is that will America has come a long way since the first ‘ Gay and Lesbian Pride Month’ in 2000. No time before have children been exposed to this kind of fiercely controversial sexual concepts, which could have the effect of creating a young, impressionable child proceed under the knife in order to become the contrary sex. As liberal speak show host Bill Maher *put it,   “ We are literally testing on children. ”

Amid this particular in-your-face sexual messaging from every medium, does the nation really need an entire month devoted to every sexual deviancy underneath the sun? Or is the answer to give straight people an entire month to balance out the particular scales? After all, is being part of the LGBTQ+ community any more challenging in these politically correct instances than it is to be wedded with children? The 30 days of July is still totally free, so why not designate it ‘ Straight Pride Month’ in honor of those exhausted looking women and men on the morning train, on the way to work after an all-nighter with a screaming teething child?

If we would be to get really technical right here, none of us – not really gay, trans, queer, bi people, or otherwise – would be around to celebrate anything at all if it were not for the unfashionable straight folks, who volunteered for the thankless job of raising kids from birth and playing house in the world gone mad. Could it be time these people demand some type of month-long, flag-festooned celebration to honor their tremendous sacrifices?

While it can be a good way of reminding the entire world about where its genuine priorities should be, the real heroes in the world rarely ask for benefits, let alone an entire month of partying, although they probably didn’t refuse a babysitter over the occasional Friday night.
