Following a common trend of excitement amongst extreme leftists in press, The New York Times offers recently posted an Op-Ed which argues in favor of the inflationary crisis facing the US and far of the world because it pushes the public to go vegan and give up meat “ for that greater good. ”
Just as late night propagandist Steven Colbert cheered for higher gas prices and suggested people purchase a Tesla (a vehicle much outside the affordability of the most of Americans) if they want to avoid paying $15 a gallon for gas, the NYT Op-Ed has a familiar smell of elitism.
The UN and many globalist foundations have been engaged in the war on the average individuals diet for many years now. A primary pillar if the UN’s climate change agenda calls for the conclusion of large scale gardening and meat production in the name of reducing our “ carbon footprint. ”
Keep in mind that even the NOAA confesses in their own data that worldwide temperatures have only risen 1 Level C during the past century (with a perimeter of error of 0. 23C). That’s right, 1 education, and this is after climate scientists have made numerous “ adjustments” to how temperature ranges are recorded for the established record.
Furthermore note that the temperature report started in the 1880s. Anytime NASA or the NOAA says that a particular day was the “ hottest day on record, ” they are mentioning a tiny sliver of the good the Earth in which data continues to be “ officially” collected. The truth is, the history of the planet is replete with long term worldwide warming events (far hotter than we have been witnessing today), and a long time before man-made carbon was actually a thing.
Today’s temps are low to reasonable in comparison, but if you only go through the records that climate groupings want you to see rather than the bigger picture then it might seem like the world is getting hotter compared to it should. The Earth’s weather conditions history is vast, and changes occur without the insight of human activity.
There is zero cement evidence to support the claim that will man-made carbon has any significant bearing on the current and historically minor heat range increase of today; only assumptions, once again based on correlation instead of proof of causation.
This fact won’t prevent the climate cult from singing the praises of economic decline, though. When they can’t force Green New Deal-type legislation on the public, then perhaps an inflationary collapse will do the job to them?
Even more disturbing is the insinuation by the Times that a reintroduction of the Handle Act might be in order. For those unfamiliar with this starkly unconstitutional legislation , the Lever Act, also known as the Food And Fuel Act, had been passed in 1917 and used wartime conditions plus price inflation as an excuse for the government to take control of agricultural production, specifically decreasing meat availability. It also gave the government the power to confiscate agricultural resources and “ prevent hoarding. ”
As the Op-Ed information in a quote:
“ There was huge cultural buy-in to the idea that collectively, we could make small sacrifices — which is exactly how people saw giving up meat — and we’d associated with sacrifices in the name of a greater great and get something done… ”
Put simply, the argument is that climate ideologues and militant vegans should support government activities that violate private house and business rights because this has already been done before. The precedent was set in 1917, and they think this helps it be okay to do it again.
It’s also funny how the “ greater good” constantly seems to coincide with whatever establishment elites want to happen rather than what public freedom demands. The globalist business known as the Club Of Rome openly admitted the plan in 1992 in their treatise titled ‘ The First Global Revolution’ :
“ In searching for a common enemy against whom we can combine, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like, would fit the bill. Within their totality and their connections these phenomena do constitute a common threat which should be confronted by everyone together. But in designating these dangers since the enemy, we fall into the trap, which we have already warned readers about, namely mistaking symptoms for causes. All these dangers are caused by individual intervention in natural processes, and it is only through transformed attitudes and behaviour they can be overcome. The real foe then is humanity by itself. ”
The statement comes from Section 5 – The Vacuum, which covers their place on how to convince the public to the need for global government.
Why does the EL and other globalist institutions want to remove meat in particular from our diet? It’s hard to say, but it’s certainly not weather related. There is some scientific evidence including multiple studies which suggest that a plant based diet can lead to stunted brain advancement and cognitive decline, particularly in children and adolescents. Will be removing meat availability from our society a bid to make the peasants dumber and less dangerous?
There are also multiple studies which link veganism to higher rates associated with depression plus a higher chance of irritability and anger. This would help describe the bizarre zealotry we see among some vegans these days, but the overall issue is one of cultism.
Connecting dietary habits along with moral responsibility is absolutely nothing new – Many religions have done this in the past. Nevertheless , the NEW global religion is one of environmental faith plus climate doomsday fears that never seem to materialize. At least, the anti-meat campaign acts to provide a sense of moral superiority that adherents frantically need in order to feel justified in their militancy. It is also something which any individual can do to feel as though they are making a distinction on the planet, even if they are really achieving nothing at all.
