Denali National Park in Alaska announced upon Friday it will be reinstating the mask mandate in all federal government buildings located on park reasons and park buses as a result of rise in coronavirus cases.
The mask mandate applies to everyone over the age of two regardless of vaccination standing and is required in federal government buildings on park coffee grounds, including “ park visitor centers, administrative offices, lodges, gift shops, and restaurants, ” the Denali Nationwide Park and Reserve stated .
Individuals will also be required to put on masks on all recreation area buses, courtesy shuttle busses, and transit and visit buses.
Denali joins five other national parks that recently reimplemented masking requirements, including Yellowstone , Grand Teton , Glacier , Yosemite , and Grand Canyon , the Nyc Times reported . Yellowstone reintroduced its mandate this month; the rest reinstated theirs in June.
