In a letter in order to Facebook and Instagram, Liberal Senators Amy Klobuchar plus Elizabeth Warren expressed worries about pro-abortion content getting censored online. The two senators are typically pro-censorship and have formerly called for the censorship associated with statements that contradict the mainstream narrative on Covid-19.

We obtained a duplicate of the letter for you  here .

“ We write to express our issue about reports that Facebook and Instagram are censoring posts containing accurate information regarding abortion in the wake from the Supreme Court’s decision within Dobbs v. Jackson, ” the senators wrote within the letter.

“ As a result of the Court’s choice, it is more important than ever that will social media platforms not censor truthful posts about illigal baby killing, particularly as people across the nation turn to online communities to discuss in order to find information about reproductive rights. ”

Towards the end of the letter, the senators asked both platforms for information about the content moderation of abortion content: “ Please give a copy of all training materials or guidance provided to your content moderation teams regarding abortion posts in the current calendar year. For each, identify the document’s main author and whom approved the document. ”

Both senators have previously called for a lot more online censorship, not less. Warren has previously inquired retail giant Amazon for further censorship of Covid “ misinformation, ” while  Klobuchar encouraged Facebook   to adopt Covid “ misinformation” policies.
