Biden says Saudi minister who have insisted he never elevated Khashoggi murder with MBS is LYING
Tells press to ‘talk about something that matters’ whenever asked if he misgivings fist bump
President Joe Biden has accused a Saudi official associated with lying about the topics talked about in his private meeting with Overhead Prince Mohammed bin Salman, while again downplaying his infamous fist bump with all the prince.
Early on Sunday, Biden arrived back at the Whitened House from his four-day Middle East tour, plus briefly took questions through reporters gathered on the Southern Lawn.
Hours earlier, just after Air Pressure One had taken off through Jeddah, Saudi Minister associated with State for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir called a Fox News reporter and stated that he ‘ did not hear’ Biden confront bin Salman, known as MBS, over the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Al-Jubeir’s declare seems to directly contradict Biden’s account of the meeting with MBS on Friday, after which the president said that he had elevated Khashoggi’s murder ‘ at the top of the meeting’ and charged the crown prince of directing the plot.
On the South Yard, when asked if al-Jubeir was telling the truth about the particular meeting, Biden bluntly replied ‘ No’.
