View: Starbucks CEO Says Shops Closing in Democrat-Run Towns Because They’re No Longer Safe
Coffee giant shuttering 16 stores in Seattle, Portland, Philadelphia, L. A., and D. C. due to rampant crime, homelessness.
Woke Starbucks TOP DOG Howard Schultz, a Liberal party megadonor , says his firm has to shutter otherwise-profitable stores in blue cities mainly because employees no longer feel safe.
The CEO made the exposing comments during an internal conference last week, where he blamed Liberal leaders for letting criminal offense and homelessness run rampant in their cities.
“ I must say, inside my view at the local, federal and state level, these governments across the country and leaders, mayors and governors, city councils have abdicated their responsibility in fighting crime and handling mental health, ” Schultz said during the conference.

Discussing the closures associated with stores “ that are not really unprofitable, ” Schultz mentioned “ one of the primary issues that our retail workers have is their own personal protection. ”
“ And then we heard the stories that go along with it about what happens in our bathing rooms; the issue of mental illness, the difficulties of homelessness and the problems of crime, ” he or she added.

The particular CEO went on to describe Starbucks as a “ window directly into America” due to their ubiquity, plus said “ we are facing things in which the stores were not built for. And so we’re listening to our people and closing stores and this is simply the beginning. There are going to be many more. ”
Last week, Starbucks announced it might shutter 16 stores within major Democrat-run metropolitan areas, which includes Seattle, Los Angeles, Portland, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
