A brazen, broad-daylight robbery in an unique Connecticut enclave was thwarted when a Good Samaritan intervened, according to authorities.
The particular shocking incident unfolded with around 4: 30 l. m. on Monday within Greenwich, one of the wealthiest towns in the country.
A woman had just exited an electronics store on Greenwich Avenue when she was accosted simply by two suspects who attemptedto rip newly-purchased items from her hands.
The victim and a family member fought the suspects off and a bystander tackled one of them before these people escaped.
Video of the assault was shared on social media.
“ A good samaritan also came to their aid plus assisted with fending from the 2 suspects, ” Greenwich Police explained in a statement.
“ The two potential foods gave up and were last observed running south upon Greenwich Avenue and inserted a silver sedan on Grigg Street. The female suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local medical center. ”
“ The subjects had been described as two black males, tall and thin, under 30 years of age, ” Greenwich Police wrote on Fb.
“ One has been wearing dark clothing and the other was wearing dark pants and a pink hooded sweatshirt. ”
