Ny Gov. Kathy Hochul Urged Supporters to Confront Representative. Zeldin’s “Far Right Agenda” Before Attempted Knife Strike

Dog whistled that he had been supported by “extremist organizations. “

New York Gov. Kathy Hochu encouraged her followers to confront Republican challenger Rep. Lee Zeldin in the “ far-right agenda” hours before a man wielding a knife tried to attack Zeldin at a campaign stop in Fairport, New York.

A video of the incident shows Zeldin giving a talk about bail reform just before he is confronted on stage with a man who “ wrestled with him a bit, and pulled a blade out there, ” before AMVETS national Director Joe Chenelly intervened to stop him.

A group of men then wrestled the attacker to the terrain and Zeldin, who was unharmed, was subsequently able to carry on his speech.

According to a declaration from Zeldin’s campaign, “ a man climbed on stage and attempted to stab Congressman Lee Zeldin (R-NY) … Congressman Zeldin grabbed the attacker’s wrist to stop him until several others assisted within taking the attacker down to the floor. ”

Hrs before the incident, Hochul’s marketing campaign sent out a press release revealing the time and location details of several of Zeldin’s upcoming marketing campaign stops.

The press release accused Zeldin associated with using his platform as a means of “ peddling harmful lies, misinformation, and his far-right agenda. ”

Hochul also said that Zeldin “ will be joined by top anti-abortion advocates, NRA lovers, and a cast of extremist groups, ” which many took as a dog whistle to Antifa extremists to attack.

“ Governor, you seemed to recommend there should have been vigilante violence by inaccurately explaining that campaign event because filled with “ far-right extremists, ” tweeted author Andy Ngo. “ That is the same language and dog whistle used by Antifa militants to urge comrades to injure or kill targets. ”

The incident once more highlights how the left, while constantly hyping the danger of right-wing political assault, are simultaneously inciting violence against conservatives on a regular basis.

As we previously highlighted , Senator Rand Paul reacted to the arrest of an armed assassin outside the home of traditional Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh by blaming the media for “ stimulating crazy people. ”

“ It has got to prevent. We have to quit doing this to our justices. We should quit doing it to the elected officials as well, ” said the Senator.
