A Google software professional has been fired a month after he claimed the firm’s artificial intelligence chat bot LaMDA had become sentient and was self-aware.
Blake Lemoine, 41, confirmed in a yet-to-be broadcast podcast that he has been dismissed following his thought.
He initial came forward in a Wa Post interview to say the fact that chatbot was self-aware, plus was ousted for splitting Google’s confidentiality rules.
