The country Bans Air Conditioning Dropping Beneath 27°C

Plus above 19°C during the winter.

Responding to Europe’s energy crisis, Spain offers controversially banned air conditioning through dropping below 27° C (80. 6° F) in the summer.

The new government decree, which pertains to a whole host of public buildings along with shops and other venues, will also stop heating from becoming raised above 19° C during the winter.

“ The rules will be obligatory in all public and industrial buildings, including bars, cinemas, theatres, airports and train stations, ” reports EuroNews .

Ominously, the document also notes that the motion is “ extended being a recommendation to Spanish families, ” meaning it could one day become mandatory similar to hosepipe bans and be enforced by fines.

The government passed the bill to fulfill a demand by the Eu to “ limit dependency on Russian gas. ”

Spaniards responded by complaining that will working indoors in 27° C would be too sizzling.

“ Now, perhaps suggested by the warmth wave we are experiencing, I might say that with 27 levels we will be very hot, ” stated Andrea Castillo, a employee at Castelló n university. “ Perhaps we could am employed at 25 degrees, but not on 27. ”

Aside from the energy crisis, expect to see a push for this kind of measures to be made permanent in the name of pursuing disastrous ‘ net zero’ policies to fight climate change.

As we previously highlighted , Germany’s largest residential landlord which usually owns around 490, 500 properties is set to inflict energy rationing that will reduce heating to tenants during the night.

Hamburg’s atmosphere minister also warned Germans that hot water could be rationed and limits on maximum room temperatures introduced as a result of the energy crisis.

Earlier this year, Italy also announced it would start rationing power to ‘ support Ukraine’, with public buildings prohibited from running air conditioning on lower than 25 degrees or even heating higher than 19 degrees.

Meanwhile, in the united kingdom, a majority of Brits think the cost of living crisis will result in people freezing to death and riots on the streets.

Still, at least everyone got to feel good about themselves for a few weeks simply by waving Ukrainian flags!
