Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) criticized doctors providing so-called “ gender-affirming care” to children, saying the public should have the right to go after legal action against them.

“[They] talk about these young kids getting ‘ gender-affirming care. ‘ They don’t tell you what that is, ” the particular governor said Wednesday. “ They’re actually giving quite young girls double mastectomies; they want to castrate these young young boys. That’s wrong. ”
