Panicked Dems Scramble To Give new meaning to ‘Raid’ After FBI’s Raid Against Trump Backfires

Democrat operatives insist raid is not a raid since public turns against FBI’s unprecedented move against 45th president.

Democrat political operatives are usually scrambling to redefine words and phrases again as the public sours against the FBI’s pre-dawn Mon raid on former Leader Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago compound.

Mainstream media reporters and Liberal insiders on Twitter correctly characterized the FBI’s unprecedented actions against Trump being a “ raid, ” including MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, CNN’s Rick Wilson, former Clinton lawyer Marc Elias, and former Obama adviser David Axelrod.

But they apparently didn’t get the memo to not call the raid a raid after the resulting disapproval by both Republicans plus some Democrats of the FBI’s raid prompted critics to test their limits against the term.

VP Kamala Harris’ previous aide Symone Sanders pleaded to fellow Democrats not to call the FBI’s raid a “ raid. ”

Democratic Atlanta state Rep. Erick Allen  wrote, “ To be obvious, a lawful execution of the search warrant is NOT The RAID. TFG is not the victim. ”

Former US Attorney for the Northern Region of Alabama Joyce Alene wrote, “ We don’t know yet what crimes the particular FBI had sufficient proof of to convince a federal judge there was probable cause to find Trump’s residence, but the delivery of a search warrant isn’t a raid. ”

“ PBS News Weekend” anchor Geoff Bennett  wrote, “ It’s a ‘ search, ‘ not a ‘ raid. ‘”

Brookings Company senior fellow Benjamin Wittes tweeted, “ A court-authorized search is not a raid. ”

Journalist Stephen Fowler  contended, “ The FBI search warrant has to undergo plenty of steps – including analysis judge – to be signed off on. So it’s not really a ‘ raid’ or ‘ siege’ like Trump implies. ”

Democrat political commentator David Weissman wrote, “ This was not a raid. Merrick Garland had a lawful search warrant to search Mar A Lago. No one is definitely above the law. ”

Dozens of FBI agents stormed the Mar-a-Lago compound within the pre-dawn hours of Monday morning while Trump is at New York City, taking 15 containers of documents without properly identifying their contents and even breaking into Trump’s safe.
