Sen. Rand John (R-Ky. ) worries the Biden Justice Department might have planted evidence on Leader Donald Trump during their raid on his Mar-A-Lago resort Monday.
Speaking to “ Fox & Friends” Wednesday, Paul who the presidential rival of Trump’s in 2016 said a possibility beyond the realm associated with possibility the FBI can do this given their previous track record.

“ Do I understand that the boxes of materials they took from Mar-a-Lago, that they won’t put factors into those boxes in order to entrap him? ” Paul asked.
He continued: “ How can we know? … How do we all know they’re going to be honest with us about what’s actually in the boxes? How do we know that was in the box before it remaining the residence if the lawyers weren’t allowed to see every thing? ”
The theory that incriminating evidence may have been planted during the raid plus search of the resort was also espoused by President Trump Wednesday, with him exposing the FBI would not allow his people access areas being searched that time.
“ The FBI and others from your Federal Government would not let anybody, including my lawyers, become anywhere near the areas that were rummaged and otherwise looked over during the raid on Mar-a-Lago, ” Trump said Wednesday on Truth Social, his social media platform.
“ Everyone was asked to leave the premises, they wished to be left alone, without any witnesses to see what they had been doing, taking or, hopefully not, ‘ planting. ‘ Why did they HIGHLY insist on having nobody viewing them, everybody out? Obama and Clinton were never ever ‘ raided, ‘ in spite of big disputes! ”
It remains to be seen what, if any, information or evidence the FBI gleans from its raid – or whether the agency will be required to explain itself in light associated with considerable political blowback.
