Tweets To ‘Pre-Bunk’ Election Promises During 2022 Midterms

‘Commie as f**k’ indeed…

As Twitter does its best to carry water for your regime (Paul Sperry is  still   suspended   for wrongthink), the social networking giant announced on Thursday night that  it will be ‘ pre-bunking’ claims –   “ to get ahead of misleading narratives, ” and “ in order to proactively address topics that could be the subject of misinformation, ” the company said in a  blog post .

Over the coming months, we’ll place prompts directly on people’s timelines in the US and in Search when people type related terms, terms, or hashtags.

The company particularly used ‘ prebunking’ during the 2020 election, tagging twitter posts by former President Trump as ‘ misinformation’ plus appending a link where people can “ get the facts”.

Twitter also used ‘ prebunking’ during last year’s UN COP26 environment summit in Glasgow, Scotland – directing users in order to online hubs containing “ credible, authoritative information” on the topic.

Other changes leading up to midterms   include “ activating enforcement of our Social Integrity Policy, ” which usually “ covers the most common varieties of harmful misleading information about polls and civic events, for example: claims about how to participate in a civic process like how to vote, misleading articles intended to intimidate or deter people from participating in the election, and misleading states intended to undermine public self-confidence in an election – including false information about the outcome from the election. ”

When tweets run afoul of their rules, they will be slammed with a misinformation label, among others will be warned against spreading them due to the ‘ potential for harm. ‘

As a reminder, just 3 months ago a senior Twitter engineer admitted that the system is ‘ commie since fuck’ and ‘ does not believe in free speech. ‘
