A unsuspecting victim was beaten unconscious in the New York City subway over the weekend with a man wielding a stone, according to reports.
The terrible incident unfolded at close to 1 a. m. upon Saturday in Brooklyn.
The victim, identified as 64-year-old Intazar Dar, says he had been commuting home from function when a shirtless rider started mumbling to himself and pacing the train vehicle.
Dar got off in his stop and the other man followed him out.
Suddenly, the suspect leap down to the tracks, grabbed a rock, and taken himself back onto the woking platform.
The suspect approached Conceder, punched him in the face, and after that struck him repeatedly in the head with the stone, causing him to lose consciousness, police say.
NYPD has launched chilling footage of the beating in hopes of tracking the suspect down.
“ This is the very first time it’s happened in my existence in New York City, but now I am just scared. It’s been two years considering that I’ve been doing my work – I don’t have any problem with this place, ” Dar told ABC 7 .
“ I see a lot of homeless people – they make me frightened. ”
Dar was taken care of for head trauma and released from hospital to recuperate at home.
The suspect had been still on the loose as of the latest available updates.
