The Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate is becoming known for her Trumpesque spats using the press

Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake slammed a reporter who asked if “ people of color” are usually wrong to feel like could possibly be “ unfairly targeted by police. ”

During a Friday press conference, Lake answered the particular media member by inquiring, “ How many people associated with color have you talked to about that? ”

When the reporter stated “ surveys” support their own claim, Lake said she’d like to see those statistics because the people of colour she talks with are worried about crime in Arizona.

“ Just because their skin isn’t exactly the same color as yours doesn’t mean you want your kids to become walking down the street in an dangerous neighborhood, ” she described. “ Every Arizonan wants safety and security in their neighborhood. It doesn’t matter what your skin color is. ”

Continuing, River defended law enforcement and advised the reporter statistics actually show police do not target people of color.

“ That is a are located that has been perpetuated by the still left and then spread and displayed and re-spread in the media. Check the stats, ” she said as the room engulfed with applause.

Lake told the media if they were to ask citizens of minority neighborhoods about defunding the police, they’d “ look at you like you are the craziest person on the planet. ”

Arizona’s GOP nominee for Attorney Common, Abe Hamadeh, also chimed in regarding the police targeting minorities.

“ You’re acting like they have just one race that ties law enforcement agencies, ” this individual told the press before accusing them of seeking to “ further divide the country. ”

The strong group of Az Republicans running for office appear fit to save the state from being destroyed by liberal policies.
