Costs Clinton Admits: ‘There Is a Limit to How Many Migrants Any Society Can Take With out Severe Disruption’
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ (R) stunt sending illegals to Martha’s Vineyard, where Clinton frequently vacations, evidently hit close to home plus struck a nerve.
Former President and devout globalist Bill Clinton incredibly stated the obvious and acknowledged migration should have limits.
In a stunning departure from typical pro-immigration generous talking points, where the damage to a country by millions of illegal migrants must not be mentioned at any cost, Clinton astonishingly admitted to CNN’s Fareed Zakaria that a nation can only take so much.
“ I think that it is fair to say the asylum system is broken, ” Zakaria told Clinton. “ It was supposed to be a system that permitted people who are in desperate circumstances. ”
“ Now what you have will be a lot of people who are essentially financial migrants … essentially video gaming the system, using the asylum as a way to get in. Isn’t it genuine that there has to be some purchase placed on this? Some manage? ” Zakaria asked Clinton.
“ I agree with that, ” Clinton replied. “ That is, there exists a limit to how many migrant workers any society can take without having severe disruption and help, and our system is based much more on an assumption that factors would be more normal. ”
Clinton continued to recall the past whenever Mexican migrants would cross freely back and forth between the US and Mexico for farming work, saying at the time this “ worked for people. ”
