Video clip: ADL Head Blasts Adidas For Not Dropping Kanye Western; “A Company That Outfitted The Hitler Youth”

“They have deep relationship towards the Third Reich”

Following Kanye West’s questionable comments over the past weeks, his detractors have targeted companies that do business with the hip hop star, with the latest assault directed at sports brand Adidas.

MSNBC, provided a platform for New York Times reporter Andrew Sorkin to blame Republicans, or something, and urge people to “ call Adidas, ” before providing airtime for your CEO of the Anti-Defamation League Jonathan Greenblatt to slam the German clothing corporation.

“ Adidas is a company that outfitted the Hitler Youth, ” Greenblatt proclaimed after proclaiming that he doesn’t “ rely on cancel culture” but “ you also have to have consequences. ”

“ They have deep relationship to the Third Reich from the 30s as well as the 40s, ” Greenblatt continuing, adding “ for this company to be monetising Kanye West in this moment, for them to make money on antisemitism with this moment, every member of the particular board should have already was up and said ‘ enough’”.


The ADL has also sent a letter to Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted and Chair Thomas Rabe, following the company announced it was  reviewing its romantic relationship with Ye and his Yeezy brand.

“ In light associated with Kanye West’s increasingly strident antisemitic remarks over the past couple weeks, we were disturbed to learn that will Adidas plans to continue to release new products from his Yeezy brand without any seeming acceptance of the controversy surrounding their most recent remarks, ” the ADL letter states, without mentioning the company’s connections to Nazis.

It continues, “ We urge Adidas to reconsider supporting the Ye product line and to problem a statement making obvious that the Adidas company plus community has no tolerance in any way for antisemitism. ”

The Hitler Youth connection to Adidas was cited by The particular Washington Post last week:

“ For decades Adidas offers distanced itself from particular elements of its founders, brothers Adolf and Rudolf Dassler, who were members of the Nazi Party.
