Darrell Brooks Found Guilty of Deliberate Homicide in Waukesha Xmas Parade Massacre

Brooks was charged along with six counts of first-degree intentional homicide, and 61 counts of reckless endangerment.

Darrell Brooks was found responsible on Wednesday on six counts of intentional homicide, and many of reckless endangerment a year after Brooks drove his SUV through the masses at a Christmas parade within Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Brooks was billed with six counts associated with first-degree intentional homicide, plus 61 counts of reckless endangerment.

While Judge Jennifer Dorow read out the counts, a man from the crowd yelled,   “ Burn in heck you piece of sh*t” plus was subsequently escorted through the courtroom.

The decision came  after a 23-day trial  which saw the accused, who was representing himself, thrown from the courtroom numerous occasions for disruptive and inconsistent behavior.

On Nov. 21, 2021, Brooks killed Jackson Sparks, 8, Tamara Durand, 52, Jane Kulich, 52, LeAnna Owen, 71, Virginia Sorenson, 79, and Wilhelm, 81.

“ Jurors came into deliberations Tuesday evening and requested several exhibits: the map that lays out there the location of victims and  police officers  were throughout the attack, a picture of Erika Patterson, Brooks’ ex-girlfriend, and surveillance video which shows members of the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies members hit with the SUV in the attack, ” Fox News reported .

Brooks, who has a history of anti-white belief , drove through the Waukesha Christmas parade last Nov, killing six people, including members of the Dancing Grannies group which were marching in the parade, as well as children. Over 60 people were also wounded in the incident.

Brooks has an extensive criminal history dating back to 1999.

He could be a registered sex culprit in Nevada. He has been convicted of obstructing a good officer in 2005 and 2003. In 2002 he previously another felony marijuana cost. In 2010 he pleaded simply no contest to felony strangulation charges after allegedly assaulting a woman during an argument about phone calls. In 2012 he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor bail jumping and marijuana fees. A year earlier he pleaded guilty to felony weed charges and resisting arrest.

Additionally , Brooks was freed by a Milwaukee judge simply days before he plowed into the Waukesha parade goers after he had used that same SUV to run more than his child’s mother in a domestic dispute.  

Notably, the popular media has been extremely sympathetic to Brooks from the beginning right up to the day before the verdict was delivered.

Each murder count carries a mandatory lifestyle sentence, and each reckless endangerment count carries a maximum sentence of 17. 5 years in prison.
