Balenciaga Apologizes For Vile Kiddie Bondage Ad Featuring Kid Porn Prop

Fashion brand claims ignorance.

Fashion brand Balenciaga has apologized for a vile photo take which featured kids keeping teddy bears dressed in bondage equipment and a prop relating to children porn Supreme Court situation.

Critics slammed the Spanish-turned-French brand after photos were released showing young girls holding plush bear bags adorned along with BDSM gear.

Perhaps even more insidious was the placement of a prop displaying court documents concerning Ashcroft sixth is v Free Speech Coalition, the 2002 Supreme Court case.

The case struck down a portion of the Child Pornography Prevention Act (CPPA) of 1996, ruling that “ virtual” child porn material is protected speech.

In an Instagram post, Balenciaga wrote, “ We sincerely apologise for virtually any offense our holiday advertising campaign may have caused. Our luxurious bear bags should not were featured with children in this particular campaign. We have immediately removed the campaign from all of the platforms. ”

The company also claimed lack of knowledge when it came to the Best Court case prop, adding that it would be pursuing lawful charges against those accountable for featuring it.

“ We apologise to get displaying unsettling documents within our campaign, ” the company mentioned. “ We take this issue very seriously and are consuming legal action against the events responsible for creating the fixed and including unapproved items for our Spring ‘ 23 campaign photoshoot. ”

“ We all strongly condemn the mistreatment of children in any form, ” the statement continued. “ We stand for children safety and well-being. ”

Respondents on Twitter expressed their utter disbelief that the campaign, which was element of Balenciaga’s Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023 collection, has been allowed to run.

“ Frightening how many adults should have been involved in this, ” one Twitter user said. “ Parents, photographers, innovative directors, copywriters, design agency staff, producers, managers, advertisers… and not one of them thought, ‘ hang on a minute? ‘”

Balenciaga had formerly departed Twitter, presumably within protest against Elon Musk, with critics pointing out there that the decision could have been inspired by Musk cracking upon the platform being used to facilitate child exploitation.
