NFL Star Cooper Kupp Criticizes Balenciaga For Disturbing Commercials

Kupp slammed Balenciaga for the ‘attack against our children. ‘

A star NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE wide receiver has sounded off against Balenciaga more than recent advertisements posted with the luxury fashion house exactly where young girls were pictured keeping BDSM-clad teddy bears.

The Los Angeles Rams’ Cooper Kupp released a  statement   demanding Balenciaga be held “ responsible” for their extremely disturbing advertisements.

Kupp defined Balenciaga as a company that “ manipulate[s] people and advertise[s] evil. ”

“ To try to be considered a voice for our children, who else rely on the protection from the men and women that were entrusted the responsibility of nurturing them plus raising them up: please make yourself aware of the assault against our young ones by @balenciaga, and ensure that they are held accountable for it. For those of us in positions to create change in the manner that companies manipulate individuals and advertise evil, make sure you stand up! ” the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE star posted on Twitter.

While Balenciaga eventually released an apology for its advertising, numerous social media users believe it had been a weak response.

“ We apologize for displaying unsettling files in our campaign. We make use of this matter very seriously and are also taking legal action contrary to the parties responsible for creating the particular set and including unapproved items for our Spring twenty three campaign photoshoot, ” Balenciaga  posted   on Instagram, attempting to blame a third-party.

“ my problem with this particular statement from  #Balenciaga   is as a photographer i understand the simple steps it takes for a shoot to occur so for them to say that they had no idea i call bullshit, they could said no in the meeting, at the session, at reviewing the pics plus before posting them, ” one Twitter user said of the apology.

“ No way this campaign was “ not approved”. An instagram  apology  and a promise of investigation is simply not enough. This is sickening. This is child abuse. There is no reason why  #Balenciaga   should have even thought that this campaign has been okay. Simply disgusting, ” another user posted in order to Twitter.

Nationwide File  previously reported   on Balenciaga’s advertising campaign and the controversy it sparked:

Balenciaga, an extravagance fashion house, rolled out there advertisements that display two young girls posing with BDSM-clad teddy bears with Balenciaga bondage and kink material in the foreground…

Another Balenciaga advertisement displaying a handbag on a cluttered workspace alarmed social media marketing users after a court record from a virtual child porn case was spotted to the desk.

The document contains an excerpt from the United States Supreme Court’s opinion on  United States v. Williams.   This case upheld section of a federal child pornography law criminalizing “ advertising, marketing, presenting or distributing child pornography even if the underlying material does not constitute child porn material. ”
