White House Says Congress Repealing Military Vaccine Mandate A ‘Mistake’

“Making sure our soldiers are prepared and ready for services is a priority for Chief executive Biden and the vaccination requirement of COVID does just that, inch says press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Officials from the Biden regime lashed out there against Congressional Republicans on Wednesday over their work to repeal the COVID vaccine mandate for the military through a renewed defense package deal.

Whitened House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and communications movie director John Kirby called the rescinding of the vaccine mandate through the 2023 National Defense Consent Act (NDAA) a “ mistake” that will hurt military readiness.

“ Republicans in Congress are determined that they’d rather combat the health and well-being of our own troops than protecting all of them, and we believe it is a mistake, ” Jean-Pierre told reporters during a press briefing.

“ Making sure our troops are prepared and ready for services is a priority for Leader Biden and the vaccination requirement of COVID does just that. ”

National Security Authorities coordinator for strategic communications John Kirby echoed that talking point almost verbatim.

“ All of us continue to believe that repealing the particular vaccine mandate is a mistake. Making sure our troops will be ready to defend this country plus prepared to do so that remains the President’s priority as well as the vaccine requirement for Covid will just that, ” Kirby told reporters when asked when Biden would sign the ultimate version of the NDAA.

Kirby continued, “ But Republicans in Congress have obviously decided that they’d rather fight against the health and well-being of those soldiers, rather than protecting them. ”

A final version of the NDAA was unveiled on Tuesday which includes a provision introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) that would end the Pentagon’s policy requiring troops to receive the fresh Covid shot.

Cruz will also introduce some other measures not included in the new NDAA that would reinstate military members wrongfully terminated to get refusing the COVID shot and compensating them with back pay.

“ The removal and reprimand of our service members during the largest land war in Europe since World War II, whilst in the midst of a recruiting problems, may very well be the most irrational decision made by a sitting leader, ” Cruz told Sibel News Digital on Wed.

“ The particular advancement of this mandate repeal is a significant victory for each soldier, sailor, airman plus Marine out there willing to protect our country, as well as their loved ones. ”

“ Let me just say this to every support member who was forced to step down, or retire, or was demoted or demeaned to make their own choice on the COVID vaccine: I will not quit fighting for you, ” he or she continued. “ You placed your country’s needs in front of your own and many of you get sacrifices we can never repay a person for. We will not end fighting until this is turned, corrections are issued plus benefits are restored. ”

This comes as recruitment numbers in every branch of the military have seen steep declines in recent years, which Congressional Republicans fault in part on the COVID shot mandate.

“ Our military isn’t hitting its recruiting numbers because of the vaccine mandate. Can’t fight the bad guys if you will find no troops! ” the House Judiciary GOP tweeted.

The other factors may have connected with Biden’s “ woke” push in military ranks.
