Moderna has evolved a new mRNA shot meant to treat patients who experienced heart failure, according to CEO Sté phane Bancel.
Speaking to the business enterprise Weekend podcast on Skies News in October that is now recirculating social media, Bancel boasted of a new experimental program where patients’ hearts are injected with mRNA.
“ We have been now in a super thrilling program where we inject mRNA in people’s cardiovascular after a heart attack to grow back new blood vessels and re-vascularize the heart, ” Bancel said. “ It’s like science fiction medicine. ”

The Sky Information reporter pointed out Moderna’s study investments were only permitted due to massive profits it made from the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine.
“ That’s the irony of COVID, is it really has in some ways allowed you to go and develop these other areas because of the revenues that came through the door, ” he stated.
Bancel replied, “ You’re 100% right. ”
A company update from Moderna released Monday outlining several mRNA projects details the mRNA technology behind its brand new heart attack vaccine.
From a Moderna’s recent business update :
mRNA-0184 encodes for relaxin, a naturally occurring hormone that is known to cause hemodynamic changes that are potentially beneficial for heart failure patients. The mRNA sequence of mRNA-0184 is engineered to instruct the body to produce relaxin with an extended half-life, with the goal of producing a sustained clinical benefit in heart failure sufferers – this longer half-life may result in more durable results compared to previous approaches.
A deeper irony of Moderna’s heart attack vaccine research is the COVID-19 vaccine it developed and profited from continues to be discovered to cause major heart issues like myocarditis and pericarditis.
A Swiss study found the COVID mRNA pictures injured the hearts of its recipients, with 2 . 8% having levels associated with subclinical myocarditis.
Reports of cardiovascular adverse reactions through the COVID jabs are so widespread that both Moderna and Pfizer announced in Nov they will investigate and study long-term risks of myocarditis in patients who took the COVID shots.
Pfizer even partnered with a company in 2021 to develop coronary heart medication meant to treat heart conditions brought on by the mRNA shot.
In sum, Moderna released a product that causes main heart problems, then used the profits from that product to build up a vaccine that treats those same heart problems.
