Dems Want Law That Would Characterize ‘Replacement Theory’ Discussion as being a Hate Crime
Aside from when Democrats talk about it in a positive context.
Democrats in Congress are trying to pass a bill that would expand the definition of hate crime to incorporate discussion of “ substitute theory”.
Yes, really.
The legislation, which is sponsored by Rep. Sheila Knutson Lee (D-Texas), would criminalize speech that is found to have “ inspired” a racially motivated crime.
The draconian law might effectively make an individual accountable for someone else’s crime if prosecutors were able to successfully argue that their political rhetoric was a motivating factor.
The Leading Against White Supremacy Take action of 2023 includes a “ conspiracy” charge that someone would be guilty of if they were found to have published “ material advancing white supremacy, white supremacist ideology, antagonism based on ‘ replacement concept, ‘ or hate presentation that vilifies or is otherwise directed against any non-white person or group” on social media.
If such content is “ read, heard, or even viewed by a person who involved in the planning, development, preparation or even perpetration of a white supremacy inspired hate crime, ” even if misinterpreted, the originator of such content can be guilty of conspiracy.
The creator is also accountable if someone “ susceptible to engaging in any activity in furtherance of a white supremacy” happens to stumble throughout it.
Experts pointed out that “ vilifying” somebody can include language that is simply harshly critical and not hurtful or false, while moving a new ‘ hate speech’ law that only focuses on white people is alone racist.
The particular “ replacement theory” vocabulary is incredibly ironic considering that Democrats routinely discuss replacement theory, the idea that whites in america are deliberately being changed by non-white immigrants, in the context of it being a a valuable thing.

Although Jackson’s bill has virtually no chance of passing and represents a clear violation of the First Amendment, the mere fact that it is getting introduced illustrates how Democrats want to completely destroy free of charge speech.
