Project Veritas Board of Directors Places Founder James O’Keefe On Paid Leave

Investigative journalist and originator of political watchdog group Project Veritas James O’Keefe has been placed on paid keep until the company’s board associated with directors can decide whether or not to remove him from their leadership role.

News of the potential ouster was reported simply by New York Magazine’s Intelligencer Wednesday night, along with sources inside Veritas uncovering a message sent to staffers through executive director Daniel Strack asserting O’Keefe would take “ a few weeks of well-deserved PTO. ”

O’Keefe’s potential suspension comes as Veritas has taken upon pharmaceutical giant Pfizer over comments from an executive director on mutating viruses , and as it faces an uphill battle with the us government over its receipt of Ashley Biden’s diary.

In internal Slack communications furthermore obtained by Intelligencer , Strack claims the company has been going through “ a distracting time” plus revealed a prior panel meeting discussed “ the fitness of the organization, ” additionally noting, “ we have not develop final solutions yet we have made a few immediate decisions. ”

“ A meeting of the Project Veritas board is scheduled meant for Friday, when O’Keefe’s potential removal is set to be discussed, based on one source familiar with the matter, ” reports Intelligencer .

Another on the web researcher dug into Hinckley, claiming he joined on as Veritas’ Chief Strategy Officer a mere four a few months ago, before going on to seek a signed letter through several Veritas employees proclaiming O’Keefe a “ power-drunk tyrant, ” at which stage O’Keefe fired him intended for insubordination.
