Video: Ohio Senator Slams “Unserious Rulers Who Are Worried About Fake Problems”
“Instead of the real fact that our country is falling apart”
Ohio Republican Senator J.D. Vance blasted the Biden administration Monday night for concentrating on “fake problems” while failing to fix core infrastructure that has led to a “hundreds” of train derailments.
In an appearance on Tucker Carlson’s show Vance spoke about the unfolding disaster in East Palestine Ohio where a derailed train carrying hazardous materials appears to have severely poisoned the surrounding environment.
This chemical release in Ohio looks really bad, and the media is barely talking about it.

“We have hundreds of train derailments after we spent over a trillion dollars on infrastructure in this country,” Vance noted, calling the continued problems “a major indictment of the people spending the money, and what they are spending the money on.”
“If you listen to Secretary Buttigieg today, they are focused more on whether we have too many white men in construction jobs than he is on the fundamentals of his job which is ensuring that we have a viable transportation infrastructure in this country,” Vance asserted, referring to Buttigieg’s comments that too many construction crews “don’t look like” the “neighborhood of color” that they are working in.
“Unfortunately my constituents in East Palestine have been some of the main victims of the fact that we are failing infrastructure in our country, again after spending tons of money in an effort to try to fix it,” Vance further urged.
The Senator continued, “we are ruled by unserious people who are worried about fake problems instead of the real fact that our country is falling apart in some of the most important ways.”
“You mentioned the Environmental Protection Agency, of courses it says it right there. It should be focused on clean air, clean water, it’s a thing I’m most focused on for the people of East Palestine. But so often their focus on environmental racism and other ridiculous things instead of fixing the problem that they are established to fix,” Vance added.
Elsewhere during the broadcast, Carlson blasted Biden officials for adopting a “everything’s fine” approach to the disaster.
“Those clouds of toxic smoke flew up and out and that toxic smoke almost immediately began killing animals and dead fish washing up on the shore. As one hazardous materials specialist put it, ‘We basically nuked the town with chemicals,’” Carlson commented.
“Now, we don’t know if the locals in East Palestine are drinking the water tonight but we can tell you that the Joe Biden administration doesn’t seem very concerned about either way,” Carlson added.
“So nobody is paying attention to the most critical infrastructure? Not the racist roads, but food, water, energy, transportation infrastructure,” Carlson said, adding “Food, water, energy, infrastructure, what does that add up to? That adds up to a country. You cannot have a country without those things.”
As we previously highlighted, Buttigieg is obsessed with telling Americans to buy expensive electric vehicles, and has long been engaged with arguing that roads in America are somehow racist.
Senator Vance has demanded the administration give answers on the train derailment that happened on February 3rd and the subsequent fires and environmental pollution in East Palestine.
