Dems Ask for MTG’s Comments On Swalwell’s Chinese Spy Sex Scandal to be Stricken from Record

‘That was quite entertaining from someone that had a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy, and everyone knows it,’ Rep. Greene told Swalwell.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) didn’t hesitate to put Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Cali.) in his place during a House hearing Wednesday.

Responding to accusations by Swalwell that she sponsored “defund police” efforts because of her calls for the FBI to be disbanded, Rep. Greene immediately seized the opportunity to throw Swalwell’s credibility into question by invoking his widely-reported sexual relationship with a suspected Chinese spy.

“That was quite entertaining from someone that had a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy, and everyone knows it,” Greene said. “But thanks for entertaining—”

Greene’s comments annoyed Democrats, prompting Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) to request her statement be removed from the official record and that she be prohibited from continuing to speak.

“Completely inappropriate,” Rep Goldman stated.

“A motion has been made,” committee chair Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.) acknowledged, adding, “The committee will suspend, and the gentleman will state the words that he wishes taken down.”

“Everything that the gentle lady from Georgia has said,” Goldman answered.

“No, you need to be more specific,” Rep. Green told him.

“Accusations of an affair with a Chinese spy,” Goldman responded. “Those are engaging in personalities, and those words should be taken down, and the gentle lady should not be able to speak anymore in this hearing.”

After Rep. MTG was asked if she wished to retract her remarks, to which she responded, “No, I will not,” Rep. Green said the remark would remain on the record.

Rep. MTG’s comments referred to reports in Dec. 2020 that Rep. Swalwell had been targeted by a suspected Chinese spy named Fang Fang (AKA Christine Fang) who had infiated political circles in the San Francisco Bay Area. Swalwell reportedly had a years-long sexual relationship with Fang before the FBI alerted him to her activities and he allegedly cut off contact with her.

Elsewhere during the House Homeland Security Committee meeting Wednesday, Rep. MTG called Biden Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas a “liar” for refusing to acknowledge the fentanyl crisis.

“China is poisoning America’s children… how long are you going to let this go on?” Rep. Greene told Mayorkas.

“Congresswoman,” Secretary Mayorkas said, “I assure you that we are not letting this go on.”

Rep. Greene interjected, “No, I reclaim my time, you’re a liar. You are letting this go on.”

Again, Democrats moved to remove Greene’s comments, this time asking for them to be “taken down,” which Rep. Green granted evidently unaware “taking down” comments rather than “striking” them meant Greene would no longer be recognized to speak at the hearing.

As a result, Greene was barred from speaking the rest of the hearing.

Rep. Greene later tweeted, “Republicans will never defeat the Democrats, we’ll never impeach Mayorkas, we’ll never impeach Biden, and we’ll never implement our conservative agenda if we can’t even call a liar a liar. Republicans should not let Democrats strike down our words and do their bidding for them.”

It feels good to finally have a Republican congressman in office that has the spine to confront slimy Democrats.
