Watch: Mother of Fallen NYPD Detective Rolls Eyes After Biden Presents Medal of Valor
“The woman in black is America,” one user says.
The mother of a fallen New York City Police detective embodied all of America when she couldn’t help rolling her eyes at Joe Biden during a White House ceremony Wednesday.
Gabina Mora accepted the Medal of Valor from Biden on behalf of Fallen Detective Wilbert Mora, who was shot on Jan. 21, 2022, while responding to a call about a family dispute in a Harlem apartment, and died four days later.
But something about Biden and his geriatric manner prompted Mora to quickly roll her eyes in what appears to be exasperation.

Perhaps Mora was simply irritated that she received the Medal of Valor from the same man whose political party championed the very soft-on-crime policies that allowed Mora’s shooter to walk free despite his lengthy criminal history prior to the deadly encounter.
