Rep. Anna Paulina Luna Files House Resolution to EXPEL Rep. Adam Schiff From Congress

‘Schiff lied to the American people,’ Rep. Luna tweeted.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) filed a House Resolution to expel Democrat Congressman Adam Schiff (Calif.), accusing him of lying for promoting the Trump-Russia collusion hoax and costing taxpayers millions.

“Schiff lied to the American people,” Rep. Luna tweeted Wednesday. “He used his position on House Intel to push a lie that cost American taxpayers millions of dollars.”

“He is a dishonor to the House of Representatives,” she added.

As former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Schiff played a massive role in promoting the Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy theory during investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

The proposed resolution comes on the heels of Special Counsel John Durham’s damning report Monday confirming the FBI had no legal basis to launch its Crossfire Hurricane investigation into President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.

Rep. Luna’s resolution cites Article 1, Section 5, Clause 2 of the US Constitution which says the House “may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behavior, and, with the Concurrence of two thirds, expel a Member.”
